Round 1 - Race Report by Lewis Rae
No Limits Racing enters a new era at Snetterton!
The wait is over… After a long winter break, No Limits Racing is back on track for the
opening round of the season. Nine rounds, seven circuits and plenty of last-lap overtakes
await the championship this year. The first 23 races have already been completed, featuring
22 sprints, a highly anticipated three-hour endurance race and for the first time ever, LIVE
and FREE to watch online!
The Biker Lawyers National and Team Endurance Championship returned for another season of
action, with 23 teams entering the opening race of the year. Tr4ck Sl4gs began 2026 in style,
winning the shortened race, which was stopped due to a late red flag. The #32 squad also
won the National 1000 class while Proudfoot Racing and MOTO46 Cerakote UK rounded out
the podium – both in National 600. Elsewhere, Fireworks earned P1 in the Team Power
Trophy, fielding just one Yamaha R1 to share, while Raceskinz Endurance won the ACU
National Twin and KGG Endurance grabbed Team Twin Trophy honours.
The Pirelli Super Series Sport Trophy kicked off the season on Saturday, with Jamie
Richmond dominating proceedings on his new Ducati 959. The #5 switches from Triumph to
Ducati in 2026, beating Corey Tinker, Eddy Wormald and Harrison Crosby – who shared the
podium places across the three races. Meanwhile, Aaron Daykin charged to victory in the
brand-new NL Premier Sport Cup.
Three winners from three races in the Dunlop NL500 Championships, with Marley
Mackenzie, Max Bartle and Marco Holt sharing overall glory. Mackenzie and Holt raced in
the HC class (Hors Concour), so no points awarded for them, while Bartle completed the clean sweep inside the NL500 Elite category ahead
of James Cottenham, George Bartle, Carl Bayliss and Simon Aldridge. Felix Hearn, Tim
Patterson and Jack Seaman shared NL500 Freshman honours, while Karl Freeth dominated
the NL500 Senior class.
TAG Racing joined the Pirelli Super Series Power Trophy grid, with Charlie Nesbitt bagging
three wins ahead of his teammates Fraser Rogers and Matt Truelove. It was an incredible
fight in the opening laps, with NLR regular Tommy Fielding clinching third in Race 2 after
holding off Tom Norton. Jack Morgan and Jamie Boyce shared P1 in the DART Premier
Power Cup as Brandon Better and Harry Dennison rounded out the class podium.
Alex Mullaney stunned the Metzeler Freshman Sport Challenge grid, winning by over 15
seconds in the two races he contested. Frazer Lysaczenko grabbed Race 3 victory, with
Laurie Myers and Aaron Nunn enjoying their moment in the spotlight – finishing on the
podium. It was a similar story in the NL Pre-Injection 600 series too, with Steve Lester
completing the hat-trick in Round 1. Carl Vickers and Grant Taylor took second and third,
ending what was a solid start to their campaigns.
Over in the Brandfixx Club Power Cup, Jack Cullin made headlines, achieving victory on three
occasions on board his BMW. Scott Pentleton, Jordan Heugh, Perry Matterface, Simon
Franklin and Robert Pearce stood on the podium following an ultra-competitive fight.
Meanwhile, Dean Turner made it three from three in the NL Old School 1k Trophy, beating
Daniel Mercer, Andy Ashcroft and Sam Foster. It was a busy day from the grid, with their
second race (Race 12a) being postponed until the end of Sunday due to multiple red flags.
It was another Alex Mullaney masterclass in the Club Sport Cup category, with the #774
leaving Snetterton with a further three trophies. Jordan Warren-Goode and Finlay Page
clinched podium finishes after a thrilling duel. The Streetbike Cup with Metzeler class joined
them on the grid, with Paul Holden charging to glory ahead of Thomas Drew, Rodger
Lovelace and Ian Keeble. Fans were also treated to some epic racing in the Next-Gen
Sportbike with Pirelli class, with Lewis Smart and Edmund Best sharing the honours ahead of
Charlie Atkins, Josh Froggatt and Lewis Jones
There was drama from the start in the Trackday Addicts Supertwins, with Lewis Arrowsmith
crashing out of the lead in Race 1. Ryan Garside took victory, before Arrowsmith bounced
back, reigning supreme on Sunday with two wins as John Coughlan, Charlotte Marcuzzo and
Scott Page stood on the podium. Kenneth Macloed impressed in the new Fortis F900R Cup,
winning overall on Saturday and clinching three class wins ahead of Fraser Mutch, Chris
Taylor and Alex Vella. Finally, Noah Guillery and Enzo Tobias Lo Turco shared glory in the
SORN Stock Twins, beating Alex Cook, Blake Didwell and Joshua Crisp.
As always, the UK Armed Forces Interservice Championship was back on the schedule, with
Jack Morgan starting from pole position. With just one race on the schedule, it was an epic
fight as Jordan Warren-Goode stormed to victory for the Army squad. Jack Morgan took
second, with Dean Turner finishing as the top RAF rider in third, while Brian Fuidge finished
as the top Navy rider in P16.
Well, that’s it – the first round of 2026 is officially in the books! What an incredible
weekend, and an incredible show from the riders on track. Now attention turns to next
month, where we head to Donington Park for the first time this season on April 25th-26th.
Make sure you stay updated across our social media channels, nolimitsracing.co.uk and NLR
